I started the day with Lucie at her parent’s house with her bridesmaids in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Lucie was one chilled out bride. The morning was calm and everything was running ahead schedule. While Blake nervously awaited his bride, Lucie travelled in style in a cute vintage wedding car to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Haworth. Having chosen the countryside of the Bronte country for their wedding ceremony in the charming little church, their wedding reception mirrored their country themed at at Otley Country Park Hotel and Spa in North Yorkshire. A lovely lodge with several wooden cabin set in the surrounding woodland around the picturesque lake. If that isn’t appealing enough for a wedding venue, the Chevin Country Park hotel is a stone’s throw from the Otley Chevin, with stunning views over Otley. This makes the Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa one of the most sought after wedding venues destinations around Leeds.
This was my first time shooting at the Otley Chevin Park Hotel wedding venue. I always look forward to shooting at a new location and I have to say the staff are amazing and the grounds around the lake are such a lovely spot for wedding photography. I had such a great time capturing Blake and Lucie’s spring wedding. They are such a lovely and down to earth couple. The dance moves alone were spectacular!
