Skipton Engagement photography - Shelley and Adam

There are so many wonderful location choices for engagement photos around Skipton. Shelley and Adam were particularly drawn to the idea of a golden hour or sunset photoshoot, and in those cases, I always recommend finding some elevated terrain to capture the best light and stunning views.

We decided to explore and test out the stunning moors in Elslack ahead of Shelly and Adam's upcoming wedding at the Tempest Arms. This initial recce along with the photo shoot really helped us realise that it will be an absolutely beautiful spot for capturing wedding photography on their big day. Just imagine Shelly in a flowing white dress, and Adam looking sharp in his suit, surrounded by the rich, purple heather that blankets the landscape.

Not every couple chooses to take advantage of my complimentary engagement photoshoot (or pre-wedding photoshoot, if you prefer), but those who do always find it a helpful and enjoyable experience. It’s a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera, and many couples genuinely have a lovely time during the session, which often helps them feel more relaxed and confident on their wedding day.

I really looking forward to being taken at the Tempest Arms with Shelley and Adam for their Autumn wedding.
