Last week I returned from Rome after documenting my first destination wedding. The wedding left me smiling. I was smiling for many reasons, one reason being, I received my first thank you during speeches.
As a photographer, I am not a guest but need to blend in with the wedding guests, so it was so nice to receive a thank you along with the key people. To be thanked during speeches was completely unexpected and broadened my smile. A thank you might not sound like much, but it means a lot.
I don't know...it's the small things in life isn't it? A few kind words go a long way.
