Otley Chevin Forest Park Family Photo Shoot

The Otley Chevin Forest Park makes the perfect spot for a family walk and a family photography.

I like to combined the two. If there’s an activity, like a walk or playing in the park, it really helps a family relax and the shoot isn’t all about the photoshoot. It becomes more about the activity. The Otley Chevin provides views of the Wharfe Valley but also has lots of covered woodland area, making it an interesting location of beautiful backdrops while keeping the kids engaged on exploring.

Beautiful photos without that awkward posed feeling

This is so much more achievable outside a studio setting. There are no forced smiles on demand with a flash popping in your face. My family photography aim to capture families being themselves. These little ones were a little camera shy to start with. Over the course of the photo shoot, while chatting with them, they became very conformable. Goal achieved!

Why book a natural family photo shoot?

Because you could have photos like this! I love capturing family moments. These are the moments you will look back on and smile. They’re real moments and they are your moments to keep forever!

Here’s my highlights from the Drewery family photo shoot at the Otley Chevin. They were so great to spend time with and I found it difficult only picking a few photos for the highlights.

If you love natural photos and no awkward posing and want to know more, I’d love to hear from you . Photos shoots can take places in any location across Yorkshire, but I’m always here to suggest places like the Otley Chevin if you need some inspiration..

Thanks for dropping by my family blog.

The Drewery Testimonial:

Gemma was great for our outdoor family photoshoot in Otley. She's managed to capture natural photo's of our children climbing, running and jumping about and generally having fun.
Our children are generally shy in meeting new people, and Gemma was great with letting them drive their involvement in being captured. With both children relishing in the photoshoot.
Thanks again Gemma!
