Engagement Photography at Swinton Park Estate
Masham in the Yorkshire Dale is a beautiful part of North Yorkshire. For those looking for a county wedding, North Yorkshire is often the obvious option, full of wonderful wedding venues. Swinton Hotel is a luxury venue for picture perfect wedding photography. Just driving through the entrance gates and approaching the Swinton Castle Hotel has that wow factor. April and Martyn choose it as their engagement shoot locations ahead of their September North Yorkshire wedding here. Martyn proposed to April at the lake, so we decided to take a walk to that very spot and pick out locations that would be great on their wedding day too. But of course this isn’t really a spot that isn’t amazing for wedding photography at the Swinton Park Estate. With over 20,000 acres of land to explore and antiques furnished room in the graded castle, I’m more than confident I feel like a kid in a sweet shop.
April and Martyn were both quite nervous to be in front of the camera. In fact Martyn even admitted that the night before their engagement shoot, he’s thoughts were ‘why on earth am I doing this’.
