I’ve been lucky enough to provide wedding photography at the Coniston Hotel for a number of weddings. Here’s a sneak peek at John and Charlotte’s wedding day at The Coniston Country Estate
John looked exceptionally smart and sophisticated in his classic Scottish groom attire, perfectly complementing Charlotte, who radiated sheer elegance and beauty in her exquisite Ava Rose wedding dress.
The ceremony was intimate in the Winston room. Charlotte and John were nervous but shared many giggles during the service, which was so sweet to capture.
Winter Wedding at Coniston Country Estate
It was a day of showers, so we took advantage of a gap in the weather and popped down to the Coniston lake and jetty. Time was tight and Charlotte was a little worried about her dress. But I’m so glad we made it for couple’s portraits. I think it’s really important to have this time out, even if it is just 5 minutes. The Coniston country estate is so beautiful and a perfect backdrop. (and we kept the dress clean by Charlotte standing on a blanket) We actually had a walk around for their engagement photoshoot back in April 2022. See their engagement photos at Coniston hotel here
The wedding breakfast room looked lovely. I loved the velvet tablecloths with pastel pink petals and floating candles and table names of places they’ve visited. They’re speeches were short but sweet before they tucked in to some tasty food catered by the Coniston hotel. I feel there was an extra layer of stress for John and Charlotte due to their gorgeous little boy who had a sleepless night pre wedding, but the newly-weds laughed throughout, even when cutting cake and their first dance.
