West Yorkshire Barn wedding Party Highlight Photography
After getting married in Nashville, Harry & Niamh brought their cowboy theme back to Yorkshire for a wedding reception at Cragg View Farm in Silsden, celebrating with family and friends. One of my favourite parts of the evening was heading outside at sunset to take some photos of the two of them with their dog. The light was gorgeous, and I loved having the chance to capture some portraits of all three of them together.
A Barn Wedding Reception in Silsden
Cragg View Farm provided a countryside setting for the celebrations, with the barn offering a rustic interior for bringing everyone together for a wedding party.
Sunset Couple Portraits with Their Dog
One of my favourite parts of photographing a wedding or reception is getting outside with the couple for a few portraits. If we're lucky enough to get a pretty sky, you can bet I'll be asking you to head outside for some photographs!
Including your dog in your wedding photographs is a lovely way to make the images feel personal, especially when they're such an important part of your family. We were so lucky to get a gorgeous sunset. We didn’t get long, but I was so happy to get these lovely moments to photograph.
Family wedding Photos
Family photographs are always worth making time for. Niamh and Harry did get some formal photos in Nashville, but we took the time to capture the wider family. Parents and grandparents are always people I made sure I capture. While I love capturing natural interactions, it's important to have those photographs with the people who mean the most to you, too.
Speeches, Dancing and Candid Moments
Of course, a wedding reception isn't just about the portraits. Some of the best photographs happen when everyone is simply enjoying themselves. Niamh & Harry wanted to share speeches, food and lots of dancing with their guests.
Planning a Wedding Reception in Yorkshire?
Not every couple celebrates their marriage in the same way. Some have a traditional wedding day, while others get married abroad and arrange a separate reception at home with family and friends. Whether you're planning a barn wedding, a relaxed reception or a party after getting married elsewhere, I'd love to hear about your plans.
