I arrived at The Devonshire Arms Hotel in Bolton Abbey after wading through a dump of snow we had the night before. The amazing staff at The Devonshire Arms in the Yorkshire Dales had pretty much cleared the walkways for guests arriving to the wedding. The whole wedding took place at the hotel in the Bolton Abbey village and I arrived to Sue getting ready with her daughter before she walked down the aisle to meet her waiting groom, Barrie. The wedding ceremony was a small service of close friends and family followed by the wedding celebrations. (The Devonshire Arms hotel have a variety of ceremony rooms to suit the size of your wedding)
Sue and Barrie's wedding day was a sweet intimate Christmas wedding, made that little bit more magical with the snow in the beautiful setting of Bolton Abbey in the the Yorkshire Dales.
